Spider-Man Review: New Universe - New and unique Spider-man version

For the past 16 years, since Spider-Man 2002, the number of Spider-Man movie movies now can not be counted on the fingers enough to see how much this superhero is audiences favorite. Continuing to exploit a new angle of Spider-man, Sony launched a unique and novel animated film universe in 2018. After the first premiere, The Cinema Corner has reviewed Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse to you, the review does not reveal the movie content, you can be assured. Read before going to the cinema to enjoy.

Some information you need to note before going to the cinema:

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is an independent animated film that doesn't belong to the current Marvel movie universe or Spider-Man Universe has Venom that came out in October. While Spider-man is a Marvel character, sold copyrighted to Sony, so it was produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation.

Synopsis: Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a high school boy who lives with his parents. Once sneaking out with his uncle, Miles was bitten by an infected spider and became Spider-Man.

The trouble began when Kingpin tested the accelerator to connect different universes to find a version of his wife and other children in another universe. At this time, Spider-Man Peter Parker was fighting to prevent this dangerous test when Kingpin was discovered and killed. Before his death, Peter gave Miles the task of stopping the experiment by destroying the accelerator. To complicate matters, when 6 Spider-Man from other universes appeared, Miles had to stop Kingpin and help the remaining Spiders return to their own universe.

Compared to the movies in the last 16 years, the content conveyed in the movie Spiderman: New Universe is really much more and more complex. The film must both show the process of becoming Spider-man of Miles, must also explain the multiverse terms, and must also explain the origin of the new 6 Spider-Man appear and must show the connection between Miles. and family. But unexpectedly, that incredible work was directed by the trio of directors Peter Ramsey, Robert Persichetti Jr. and Rodney Rothman excelled. Not only conveying the full content, the three performers brought to the Spider-man movie universe a completely new and unique expression.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has a quite dramatic storyline with thick action scenes. The film brings together many Spider-man versions while also gathering a large number of his opponents such as Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Lizard, ... so the battles are really attractive and worth watching.

Part image and character creation is new in the film. Spider-Man: New Universe has a 3D animation style but it is framed and cast shadows for 2D comic-style characters and scenes. Plus transitions like paging and speech bubbles that appear in some scenes of characters talking or thinking that make viewers feel like they're immersed in a vivid comic book.

The brushstrokes of the characters are meticulously and carefully elaborated. Step by step, the facial expressions are very flexible and natural. To the extent, the Miles choked on the saliva but also very subtle shows the "mindful" investment of the graphics team in the film.

Like other cartoons in Vietnamese theaters, Spider-Man: New Universe also has two versions of dub and subtitles. However, the Vietnamese dub version is really disappointing, does not convey all the humor and expressions of the characters. If you are not with your child, Cinema Cinema recommends that you choose the subtitles to fully enjoy the appeal of the movie.

In contrast, the original English version was great by the cast. A team of hilarious, emotional voices bringing cartoon characters very real. Among them are Nicolas Cage as Spider-man noir, Hailee Steinfeld as Spider-Gwen, Jake Johnson as Peter Parker, and actor and rapper - Shamiek Moore as Miles Morales.

Sound and soundtracks are also a highlight in the film. Soundtracks are vibrant hip-hop songs, sitting in theaters, whenever the music plays so you can't stop beating to the beat. After watching the movie, you should immediately find the soundtrack album to enjoy.

In short, Spider-Man: The New Universe (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) is a good cartoon and filled with interesting things. From the plot, visualization to the soundtrack, there are unique and creative features of the three directors. The movie is worthy for you to enjoy the weekend with your family or friends.
